Villa Diva Rovinj

RELAXING WONDERFUL STAY We were a party of 5 who satyed for 2 weeks July 2019. The owner was very accomdating ref handover of keys and provided heplful advice on activities in the area. We arrived to find the villa spotlessly clean and the outdoor areas also- everything very well maintained. The villa is decorated very tastefully- really co-ordinated theme throughout the house that is carried through to the outdoors and again well maintained in brand new like condition. Light and airy with more than enough room for us. As planned we spent more time outdoors and bbq and seating area are great for this with a lovely view over the pool and garden. This pool had a very good filter and pool cleaners came twice a week- so never did we have to clean out any insects. We have stayed in villas before where we have to spend an hour each morning cleaning out the insects from the pool as the pool filters were not good. We visited the Plitvice lakes while staying here and the drive is 3.5 hours but so scencic a drive and the lakes are outstanding, like a fairy tale. We also took a boat trip from Pula and enjoyed jumping and diving in the aqua coloured sea. Loved trying the local food and wine and even bought some poatoes and eggs and other fresh produce from a neighbour- how nice to eat such fresh food. Our favourite restaurant was in Pula and had a secret garden to eat in- Valli Delicious- great local food and service. Usually we go to Italy for our summer holiday but we think this part of Croatia is more beautiful. Our son was in the south before he joined us in the north and he though the north is more beautiful - this part of Croatia has beautiful forests and meadows with wild flowers and aqua coloured rivers and lakes. Can highly recommend and did not want to come home!

A perfect family home. The house is new, spacious, modern, very nicely furnished and well equipped. We enjoyed that each bedroom has an extra bathroom and that the porch with the big dining table is covered so you can use it during any weather. The pool was the highlight for the kids, and the big garden is ideal to play lots of different games. For adults, the hammock was a plus! The only small downside is the location, as the house is literally in the middle of nowhere. The main bigger cities are easy to reach by car, but there is nothing (store, restaurant, pool, etc.) in the surrounding area that you could reach by walking. It makes the outside area very quiet though ;-)

Wir kommen gerne wieder ... Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche als Familie in diesem schönen Haus. Das Haus entspricht voll und ganz den Bildern und war eines der schönsten Ferienhäuser, die wir bisher gebucht haben. Ein versprochenes Kinderbettchen war am Anreisetag nicht vorhanden, wurde aber von der Vermieterfamilie noch am selben Tag organisiert und gebracht - vielen Dank dafür! Auch von der Agentur wurden wir sehr gut betreut und diese waren jederzeit ansprechbar. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: es gibt pro Gast nur ein kleines Handtuch und ein Gästehandtuch. Ein Duschhandtuch wäre wünschenswert oder ein Set zum wechseln.
